Privacy Policy

Overview

Toolfyra (“we”, “us”) operates https://toolfyra.com and its subpages. We designed the site so that the tools themselves are privacy-preserving by default: every calculator and converter runs locally in your browser, and the files or numbers you enter are never uploaded to our servers.

This policy explains the limited cases in which any data touches third parties, and it describes your rights under the GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California) and other applicable laws.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not receive, store or process the inputs you type into tools, the files you open with them, or the results you download. Processing happens on your device using standard browser APIs. You can verify this in your browser’s developer tools: no file data is sent over the network while a tool runs.

Information handled by third parties

Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and availability. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) measures aggregate page visits and feature usage on this site. Outside the EEA/UK, analytics run by default and can be switched off any time with Decline in our cookie banner; inside the EEA/UK they start only after you accept in our cookie banner, and while consent is denied no analytics cookies are set. GA4 records IP addresses in anonymised form (anonymize_ip is enabled), and processes the data under Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising: ads on this site are served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Advertising is served by Google AdSense under Google Consent Mode v2: outside the EEA/UK ad signals are granted by default, so Google may set advertising cookies; inside the EEA/UK they stay denied until you consent through our banner.

Search Console: Google may set a verification cookie when we verify site ownership; this does not track your activity.

Camera, photos & virtual try-on

Some tools (virtual try-on, colour matching, hairstyle and shade previews, wallpaper and room preview) can use your camera or a photo you choose. Camera frames and photos live only in your browser’s memory. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party, never recorded, and never saved. There is no upload endpoint on this site at all — so nothing can be transmitted even by accident. Close the tab or press the tool’s Clear button and the image is gone permanently; it is not written to disk, local storage or any database. The only outbound requests any tool makes are public metadata lookups (for example oEmbed) where a tool needs to display a link preview — those requests contain a public URL you typed, never your photo or camera data.

Cookies & local storage

Cookies (analytics and ad measurement, regional model): we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and how features are used, in aggregate. Outside the EEA/UK, GA4 runs by default and sets first-party cookies; inside the EEA/UK, they are set only after you accept in our cookie banner. GA4 sets first-party cookies — the _ga cookie and related _ga_* keys — which store a random client ID used to recognise repeat visits; their maximum lifetime is about 13 months. IP anonymization (anonymize_ip) is enabled, so IP addresses are truncated before storage, and this data is processed by Google LLC under Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can withdraw consent at any time via your browser settings, Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or the banner’s Decline button; while consent is denied, these cookies are never set. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) follow the same regional consent model, and no other third-party trackers run on this site.

Local storage: the tools use your browser’s local storage only for non-identifying conveniences such as your selected interface language or a saved cobalt-server URL (stored only on your own device, never sent to us). See the Cookie Policy for the complete list of what we set.

Children’s privacy

The site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected by the tools themselves, nothing to delete arises from tool usage.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Because the tools collect no personal data, most requests concern server-log data held by our hosting provider, which we will forward where applicable. California residents may exercise CCPA/CPRA rights via the contact below; we do not sell personal information.

Data security & retention

All traffic is served over HTTPS. We retain no tool inputs or outputs. Hosting logs are retained by Cloudflare for a limited period under its standard retention policy.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date below. Material changes affecting cookies or advertising will additionally be highlighted on the homepage.
