Spin the Wheel — Random Name & Decision Picker

Add names (one per line), spin, and let the wheel choose — fair and visible. Great for teachers, giveaway winners, chores, and any yes/no or who-goes-first decision.

Quick answer: Free spin-the-wheel random picker: add names, spin, get a fair winner. Perfect for classroom picks, giveaways and decisions. No signup, works offline in your browser.

Remove winner after spin

Names — one per line

How to use

Add entries — one name per line (or comma-separated). Duplicates allowed for weighted chances.
Spin — click the wheel or press Space. The result is announced under the wheel.
Keep going — enable auto-remove for knockout rounds, or reset the list anytime.

About this tool

A wheel of names everyone can see beats picking from a hat: the spin is visible, the result feels fair, and no name gets lost. Paste your list, spin with a click (or spacebar), and the wheel decelerates with real physics before the pointer declares a winner. Choose whether to remove winners after each spin for knock-out rounds. Private by design: your list lives only in this browser tab — student names and giveaway entries are never sent anywhere.

FAQ

Is the spin really random?

Yes — the winning segment is decided by where physics stops the wheel (angle + speed), not by favoring any name. Every entry occupies an equal slice unless you add duplicates to weight it.

How do I give some entries a better chance?

Add the name multiple times — three copies means triple the slice and triple the odds.

Can I remove the winner and spin again?

Yes — turn on 'Remove winner after spin' for knockout rounds (e.g., prize draws with multiple prizes).

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, spinning needs no internet at all — handy for classrooms with weak Wi-Fi.

How many names fit on the wheel?

Up to 60 slices stay readable. Beyond that the wheel still works but labels shrink — use it for big giveaways with a shorter finalist list.

Is my list private?

Completely. Names live in your browser only — no upload, no account, nothing stored.
