About this tool

Most “free PDF signing” sites upload your contract to their server, process it, and send it back — hoping you trust their storage. This tool does the whole job inside your browser using PDF-manipulation code loaded once: your signature is drawn on a canvas, embedded as a transparent image at the position you click, and the finished PDF is saved straight back to your device. Honest note: this adds a visible handwritten signature image — it is not a cryptographic digital certificate (eIDAS/ESIGN qualified signature), which requires identity-verified certificate authorities.

Is my contract uploaded anywhere?

No — that is the point of this tool. The PDF is opened by your browser, modified in memory and saved by your browser. No server receives it.

Is this a legal signature?

A visible signature image is accepted on most everyday documents (consent forms, invoices, internal approvals). For qualified digital signatures required by some governments, you need a certificate-based signer — this tool does not pretend to be one.

Can I sign on multiple pages?

Yes — select the page number and click again; every click stamps the signature at that spot. Use the reset button to clear all stamps before downloading.

Can I resize or recolor the signature?

Yes — scale it with the size slider and pick black, blue or red ink before stamping.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes — a scanned page is just an image in a PDF; the signature stamps on top of it the same way.

Why is the file bigger after signing?

The signature image is embedded inside your PDF. The increase is small (a few KB per stamp) and the document stays a normal PDF.
