Facebook Video Downloader — HD Thumbnails, Title & Video Info

How to use

1. Copy the link — in the Facebook app tap Share → Copy link on any public video or Reel.
2. Paste and fetch — the tool detects the video ID and pulls every available thumbnail size instantly.
3. Download what you need — save the HD thumbnail, open the original post, or hop to a server-side downloader for the MP4 if you accept the trade-offs.

About this tool

Facebook makes saving videos awkward on purpose. This downloader takes a public video, Reels or Watch link and pulls what is genuinely available to your browser: the thumbnail in all resolutions (up to HD), the title, author and post metadata — ready to download in one tap. Honest note (important): tools that hand you the actual MP4 run server-side code that fetches from Facebook's CDN — that is why they break often and why many log your links. A browser alone cannot rip the stream, so this tool focuses on what works reliably: HD thumbnails (perfect for covers, re-posts and archives), metadata and original links. For the video file itself, use Facebook's own “Save video” for offline-in-app viewing. What this Facebook video downloader actually does — honestly: it parses the public part of the post you paste and shows the official embed player, the HD cover thumbnail, the title and the post metadata in one clean view. That answers the two questions people actually have: is the video still up, and what does it look like. For saving your own videos, Facebook's built-in download option on your own posts and Facebook's Download Your Information export are the reliable, rule-safe routes, and the tool links you straight to them. Downloading other people's videos without permission can break copyright law and Facebook's terms — this page gives you the picture, the metadata and the legitimate paths.
