About this tool

Pinterest pins mix images, idea-pins and videos, and the platform allows saving what is yours while restricting the rest. This tool parses the pin ID from any pinterest.com link and loads the official pin view/widget on this page with quick save-routes for covers where the platform exposes them. Honest note: idea-pin videos are stream-protected; extracting those MP4s needs server-side rippers that violate Pinterest's terms — we don't fake it. Your OWN pins: Pinterest's settings offer download options for your content, and the Save button keeps anything re-findable on your boards. Pinterest pins travel far from their source — that is the platform's whole design — so this Pinterest video downloader starts by telling you what a pin link can honestly give you: the official player, the cover image at its stored resolution, and the pin's metadata including its original destination. Idea Pins and standard video pins both parse. The cover image is the legitimately reusable asset for your own pins — moodboards, portfolio pages, reference collections — while the video file itself is the creator's content: Pinterest's own “saved from” attribution links back to the source, and re-posting someone's video as your own pin violates both the platform's terms and copyright. For your own uploads, Pinterest's analytics page remains the way back to your original file. Everything here runs in-session: paste, parse, view, done — no account, no history.
